Ensure sound governance, accountability, and transparency across all BIV programmes, partnerships, and financial operations.
Oversee the ₦50M+ Minimum Pilot Fund and external funding partnerships, ensuring responsible deployment of capital to high-potential student ventures.
Drive strategic relationships with industry, government, and global technology partners to expand BIV's reach and impact.
Champion a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across BIV's innovation ecosystem — ensuring all staff, faculty, and students can participate.
Shape how entrepreneurship, AI, and innovation are embedded into Babcock's academic programmes for every school and department.
BIV is Babcock University's dedicated innovation and ventures arm, designed to identify, nurture, and commercialise research outputs, student ideas, and faculty expertise into high-impact products and companies.
Through a ₦50M+ minimum pilot fund (drawn from a significantly larger committed pool), structured accelerator programmes, industry partnerships, and an annual Innovation Summit, BIV is building the infrastructure for Babcock to become Nigeria's premier university innovation launchpad.
